About Me"Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments, love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an ever-fixèd mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It is the star to every wandering bark, Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken. Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come: Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom. If this be error and upon me proved, I never writ, nor no man ever loved.. " William Shakespeare My heart has been taken since February 6th, 2011 <3 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Kay, I'm no good at these, I'll be perfectly honest but here goes anyway. I'm 18 years old currently studying Theatre in University. Drama is my life. It is my heart, my soul, my passion. Every year for the past 4 years I have put hundreds upon hundreds of hours into many different productions and I've loved every second of it. Music is another great passion of mine. Not the crap they play on the radio (Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rebecca Black, etc...) but actual music (The Beatles, Sting, Rajaton, etc...). I listen to pretty much every genre and I'll listen to anyone at least five or so times before I decide if I like them or not (Rebecca Black being the obvious exception). I also play the piano and guitar and I sing. I like to think that I'm somewhat talented as a writer but I know that I can still improve on so much. I love criticism so don't be afraid to leave me a little review/message/comment and let me know what you think of my pieces. One more important thing that I feel has to be mentioned. I'm a supporter of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) youth and adults. Please, and I can't stress this enough, PLEASE do NOT say "that's so gay" or anything like that around me. I find it really offensive and we'll get along much better if it's not said. Finally, I know that, as a teenager, my life experience is limited. I do not know everything and may not always know what to say, but if ever there is something that you feel you can't handle alone or you simply want to talk, message me. ";; Hang in there, sometimes life hands you lemons, but then you can make lemonade...Of course, sometimes life pulls down your pants, runs a power sander over your naked butt, then pours lemons juice on your raw abraded buttocks. In that case, a cool citrus drink wouldn't really help, but darn it, you gotta hang in there anyway!" ~ Meredith "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, The man who never reads lives only one." ~ Unknown -------- Random facts -------- Theme Songs: A Change in Me from Beauty & the Beast (the musical), I Am by Hilarry Duff andDefying Gravity from Wicked Favourite poet: William Shakespeare Favourite artist: Rajaton, Nightwish, Within Temptation, the list is long Favourite Books: The Graveyard Book, Little Women, Coraline, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Harry Potter, The Host, Silverwing Pets: 2 dogs Rest in Peace Sabre, my precious little goofball <3 Talk to everyone later ♥ ~ 愛 ~ ♥ "So believe that she mattered And believe that she always will She will always be with you She'll be part of the days you've yet to fill She will live in your bounty She will live as you carry on your life So carry on full of hope She'll be there For all your days of plenty" In loving memory of Dorothy Violet Taylor (my Nuther Nanny): August 17th, 1933 - May 5th, 2011 ♥ ~ 愛 ~ ♥ Words - as a Theatre Major and actor - that I live by. "Early is on time, on time is late and if you're late, you're fired." Theatrical Logic 101: "In is down, down in front Out is up, up is back Off is out, on is in And of course- Left is right and right is left A drop shouldn't and a Block and fall does neither A prop doesn't and A cove has no water Tripping is OK A running crew rarely gets anywhere A purchase line buys you nothing A trap will not catch anything A gridiron has nothing to do with football Strike is work (In fact a lot of work) And a green room, thank god, usually isn't Now that you're fully versed in Theatrical terms, Break a leg. But not really." Thanks to my Stagecraft 1 Prof. Peter McKinnon for finding this gem.
