Like most people here, I aspire to weave magic with words and to create worlds where others--as well as myself, of course--can escape to. From a young age, I loved reading and joining characters--who at times were my only companions--on their adventures and quests to finding themselves.

As an adult, I decided to pursue an English degree, with the hope that my passion for the art would lead me to a job that I would love because I would be doing something that I love. Now that I write (in the corporate realm) for a living, I need an escape into others' worlds in order to continue finding inspiration for my own creative pieces.

While it's not always easy putting one's writing on the criticism block, there's no growing without feedback from other writers/readers. Therefore, I hope to offer sound advice and constructive criticism to those who seek it; I hope to receive other writers' honesty in turn.
