-CHOICES SHATTERED

.The ground is always in motion so it seems
-The trees forever swaying in the wind of chance
-Perfection breaks at the first sound of change
-A lottery ticket thrown away before checked
-
-Wheels, not much more than idle conveyance
-The heat of madness drips upon day old crumbs
-A map burned for the sake of crass spontaneity
-Leaving only a chessboard on which to dance
-
-Tabloids heralding the Gods of an empty theater
-Flashes brokering million dollar photo’s of death
-A vile contempt bred by another’s righteousness
-Pages of the cross used to wipe their s**t clean

-Intolerably, the adjunct maid raves of filthy beds
-Arrogance blinding the honor and truth of a job
-Sentences break, crumbling like sweet cornbread
-The essence of compassion gone on a swift wind

-Denial and invalidation powers the engines greed
-Pride jigs upon the new graves of palpable
-integrity
-Celestial bodies squirm in agony at the dark
-reality
-Night time soon becoming the eternal creed of
-lies

-Then silence strikes
-Leaving only one
-Alone
-Deserted
-Forbidden

-A choice made poorly lives on in screaming crows
-As the flesh of the insidious is devoured by all
-fear
-No more shall it walk in the grace of hallowed
-halls
-The dreams have been judged, fading with the
-sun
