About Me
*My name is Angel Redd, although a few veterans of WC will remember me as Annie Mac.
*My writing reflects me, so there's really not much to stay. I'm still an 18 year old who's just as likely to be seen in a book store trying to finish an entire Orson Scott Card or Kurt Vonnegut Jr. novel in one day as at Six Flags psyching herself up to ride X2 (which is TOTALLY as terrifying it's cracked up to be.)
*I've taken a long, looong hiatus and even now, since I am starting college and trying to move out, I will not be on as much as I would like. But I will be on.
*I write, therefore I am.
Some quotes I love:
"Without music, life would be a mistake." (Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche)
"Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." - Terry Pratchett.
"I can resist everything except temptation." - Oscar Wilde.
"I have nothing to declare except my genius." - Oscar Wilde
"I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally." - WC Fields.
"I have too much respect for the idea of God to make it responsible for such an absurd world." (Georges Duhamel)
"Chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken." (Warren Buffet)
"I always been Jesus. I don't know what the big secret's been all these years." (Russell Jones, (also known as Ol' Dirty B*****d))
"I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs or insanity for everyone, but they've always worked for me." (Hunter S. Thompson)
We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.--- Ayn Rand
"What passions cannot music raise or quell?" (John Dryden)
"I don't give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell." - Harry S. Truman
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
"The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for."---Allan K. Chalmers
