🔹I'm a retired commercial pilot now in my late 70s.

➤➤ My husband Peter recently had to go into a nursing home, after being a resident there for almost 7 weeks my beloved & unparalleled husband sadly passed away on the 28th September. He is greatly missed. 😢 ......So currently I haven't felt like writing & haven't got any topics or words buzzing around in my head that are ready to emerge.

🔹Please don't ask to 'friend' me if you haven't reviewed any of my poems, 'cos i won't oblige.
The whole idea of this site is to write your own poems, stories or whatever, then read & comment on other folks' work who have been kind enough to read & review yours -->>> ie. sharing.

🔹I prefer narrative style or rhyming poems where you can get immersed in a story, rather than this random thought, one-liner-style free verse poetry, which mostly leaves me puzzled. .....So I rarely comment on free verse poems.
My poems/stories cover a variety of themes, except love 'coz I don't consider myself a romantic. Also, I'm a visual person so I like to dress up my words with images or at the very least a coloured background.

🔹If I haven't commented on your poems, please don't take offence, because I'm not always here. -->> I tend to visit WC for about a couple of weeks & then might disappear for a few months before reappearing.
