About Me

First and foremost, there just is not enough room here to show you who I really am, or what I am about, so if you would like to know more. please go to my MySpace site: www.myspace.com/jmappellechantelleinc
I am 43 years old, but I've been told that I look 25. I have 2 grown children (a son and daughter). I have my own business, which I have just started, and I am an Honors student with a 4.0 GPA (Grade Point Average) pursuing long-term a doctrine degree in Forensic Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I still believe real love exist, and is possible. It just takes committment, trust, loyalty, faithfulness, honesty, and time from both parties to make it work. Nothing worth while comes easily.I like to be treated like a lady. Just like a good, kind-hearted man would take care of me,I would take care of him, too.As far as life is concerned...my dream or belief is to make a "differance" in this world.I believe that it is my God-given "purpose" to make a difference where ever I can in life. My favorites are: sunflowers, roses, and royal purple. I love to be involved, freelance writing (journalism)One day my books will be on the shelves and out there on the net, e-books and you may even hear me speaking publicly, one never knows...does one? (speak those things that are not, as though they were) Life is too short to not enjoy it!I love to meet new people. If you love life,it will love you back! Much Love, til out paths cross.........

I am doing just fine this snowy night. I wrote two poems today, and I feel set for the day. lol. Thank you for the review of Underneath My Skin. I have experience verbal abuse with my mom. So I tapped into that to draw that poem out. I'm glad you got out and brought you and your kids to safety. I plan to read more of your work as well. I love your work! I just get so busy and forget. lol. I need to sign off now and cook my baby some dinner before he gets home. I will be on later tonight, or all day tomorrow. You have a good night. Cand you send me some work of yours to review. I would appreciate it. Good night hun.-Catrina

I have actually written one "story". I won't call it a book because it was never picked up for publication. I put the pen (or PC) down for a few years after that. I am now working on two pieces, both fiction, and plan on trying to get them published. I may go back to the other and rewrite it and see what happens. Two totally different disciplines, huh? Poetry and fiction. Impressive. Good luck with that. There is a writer on this web site who is also a publisher. Laverne Taylor. Go to Lucyrosepublishing.com and check them out.

You're very welcome. I've always had great admiration for poets. As a writer myself I appreciate the skill it takes to create a piece let alone create one that it more than simply words which rhyme. I myself have always lacked the discipline to craft work which is anything other than forgettable. I look forward to reading more of your work.
