I'm Chloe but most people call me Mel. I fall into a lot of different categories, but here are a few:

Last fall I had the amazing opportunity of signing with a literary agency, interesting in representing my 2nd of 6 completed novels. This novel is "Paite" and if I remember correctly, I have a few early chapters here. :)

My favourite books:
Harry Potter series, anything by Scott Westerfeld (especially Midnighters), anything by John Green (especially Looking for Alaska, anything by Maureen Johnson (especially The Bermudez Triangle) and The Catcher in the Rye by: J.D. Salinger.

Music is also a big part of my writing so I'll include my favourites here too.

Garbage, Death Cab for Cutie, The Summer Obsession, Vanessa Carlton, Hank Green, ALL CAPS, The Killers, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Pretty Reckless, Coldplay, and all wizard wrock bands.
