Respect is the first prerequisite of Love. Peace is the only way mutual Respect is shared. A Life well lived, in joyous harmony, is the consequence! "Give peace a chance." - John Winston Ono Lennon "All you need is love." - John Winston Ono Lennon "All I want is the truth now, Just gimme some truth." - John Winston Ono Lennon "My mother was of the sky, My father was of the earth; I am of the universe And you know what it's worth. I'm lonely - Wanna die." - John Winston Ono Lennon "A working class hero Is something to be If you want to be a hero Just follow me." - John Winston Ono Lennon "My mummy's dead, I cant get it through my head Oh it's been so many years, My mummy's dead I can't explain So much pain I could never show it My mummy's dead." - John Winston Ono Lennon "God is a concept By which we Measure our pain." - John Winston Ono Lennon "Don't follow leaders And watch your parking meters." - Robert Bob Dylan Zimmerman "One thing you can't hide Is when you're crippled inside." - John Winston Ono Lennon "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together." - John Winston Ono Lennon "And, in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." - Sir James Paul McCartney "Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends Mmmm, I get high with a little help from my friends Oooo, gonna try with a little help from my friends." - Lennon/McCartney "Half of what I say is meaningless But I say it just to reach you," - John Winston Ono Lennon "You say you want a revolution Well you know We all want to change the world." - John Winston Ono Lennon "Watch out now, take care, beware of soft shoe shufflers; Dancing down the sideboards As each unconscious sufferer Wanders aimlessly Beware of Maya." - George Harrison Conventional wisdom suggests: "To guarantee the security and the viability of a nation, culture or society requires the presence of both fighters and artists." The inherent problem with the assertion lies in the paradox, if there were no fighters anywhere, there would be no need for fighters whatsoever. Actually, to correct conventional wisdom, one should assert a different version of the statement: "To guarantee the security and viability of all nations, cultures and societies requires the absence of fighters everywhere and the presence of artists anywhere." - Don Coorough |
