Andrea Kirkegaard

I am 26 years old, and have had a passion for words for as long as I can remember. As I have grown older, words weren't enough, and my interests have expanded to drawing, painting, and photography.
What I am looking for here is honest feedback. I have many pieces I want to expand on when time and creativity allows. A lot of my short stories are pieces I want to turn into more. The following are things I would like comments on (though all thoughts are welcomed)

Is it compelling?
What does the detail do, what do you think should be elaborated on?
The metaphors used: are they too broad or easy to follow?
What are personal effects my pieces provoke?
Spelling/Grammar/Word choice

These are just a few things I can think of now. I will add more as I think more.
