Former performance poet, actor and singer.

I was injured in 2004 and no longer perform.
I have written for many years, mostly performance oriented material. My injuries have caused me to be restricted almost exclusively to my bed; it is only recently that I began writing again.

For about 4 1/2 years, I hosted and performed in my own variety show in Austin, Texas. I also acted in other plays and videos in Austin and hosted and performed in poetry and slam poetry events there for years.

I've been published here and there (non-fiction magazine articles, poetry & short stories) and won a few awards, but nothing major -- although, "I Know Why I'm Here, How 'bout You?" did win "Poem of the Year" among Austin poets some years ago.

After getting married and having a child, I needed to work in the "real world" and was a Web Developer until my accident temporarily turned me into a turnip. I am somewhat better now.

After eight years of vegetable life, my first work, found herein was, "Dead Muse."
