was just passing throu' the site. suddenly, read the poetry called "A Good Woman" by Gee. quite the reality, and helplessness of world has we well penned down in these poetic words:

I grew up with nothing,
no car, no holidays,
an absent father
a step father not worthy of the love of any woman
let alone my mother.
In the dark of night dreams came easily,
exotic countries
flash motors
palatial houses
all of the things to make a man happy,
or so I thought.

It was many years later
when married, comfortable, truly happy,
that it dawned on me
that these dreams mean nothing,
nothing at all,
without the unconditional love
of a woman who has agreed to let you share her life,
has gifted you a child,
and has accepted and loves you faults an' all.
It is only then that you realise,
that a life without love,
a true, enriching, all encompassing love,
will be a life lived unfilled, incomplete,
no matter the riches.....

just got to read these words today here on cafe's site. very deep, but also so realistic they are. Elisha sounds more like a thoughtful poetry herself. reading her stuffs'd gonna be intriguing for sure.
