I love getting into "the zone" where the ideas keep flowing. It's like nothing else. I look forward to meeting other writers, sharing thoughts, and making new friends. To me, writing is the ultimate catharsis. Naturally, all of us writers enjoy a good read. If it's something romantic, Gothic, paranormal, historical or horror-related, I HAVE to read it.
I grew up in Southern California. "Tall tales" are a must read for all natives here -- it's just how it is.

What I enjoy: submitting to a good book on any given relaxing night (especially if it's a rainy night); gourmet cooking (yeah, I can make a toe-curling dish of most any food -- and then I woke up! Haha!); visiting my favorite city, New Orleans (if I can't go, then I dream about it); collecting old -- VERY old -- books; going wherever, whenever I get the urge; chatting people's ears off.

Some of my favorite authors: Robert Bloch, Lafcadio Hearn, Edgar Allan Poe, Kate Chopin, Charles Baudelaire, John Milton, Pablo Neruda, Flannery O'Connor, and so many more.

I'm very eclectic to say the least, and one of the very few genuinely down-to-earth people one encounters in life. Count me in as always open to stimulating discussion. I enjoy giving advice as much as receiving it.
