Jaclyn

I have always hated the profile parts of websites like these because I never know what to say. I want to sound fascinating, someone that everyone wants to talk to and get to know. However, since I am suffering from a severe, debilitating case of writer's block at this point, I'll just give a little personal blurb. It will have to suffice.

I am from a small town about an hour outside of Philly, I've been married to a wonderful man for approximately three years, and I have two cats and two dogs. No children and no plans to have any. I'm 31 years old...I'm not fat, I'm fluffy...I love to read, I've been writing since I was old enough to do so, and I collect media (movies/music/books). I'm a HUUUUUUGE Dave Matthews Band fan (oddly enough, my husband's birthday is the same as Dave's, and the bassist Stefan is married to a woman named Jaclyn). I'm now in the double digits for times I've seen Dave live. Who cares, right? I'm addicted to So You Think You Can Dance, Dexter, and the newer Battlestar Galactica. I'm also a roller coaster freak and am working on a personal goal of 100 coasters by the end of this year. I'm at 90 now and will be heading to a few new parks in the next few weeks.

Anyway, as for reviewing style, I'll review anything and try to give it an honest but kind critique. I always try to keep an open mind, even if your work is outside my typical genre of what I prefer to read. Please don't be angry with me if you have figured out that something you have written does not get a 100% from me because I will NEVER give out a 100% on anything. I feel EVERYONE'S writing can be improved in one way or another. Nothing is ever perfect. That doesn't mean I don't love it. Oh, and I'm a bit of a grammar nazi, but I try not to let that come out too often.
