I can completely relate! While I was doing Child Evangelism Fellowship this summer, I absolutely loved working with the kids, and I even enjoyed teaching, but the people I worked for were really difficult at times. It's sad to see that happen in a Christian ministry, but it did teach me a lot!

And ahhh there's so much to tell haha. Well, I guess one of the relatively fun, "newer" things to tell is that I've taken up swing dancing with my sister, and a few friends, whenever they can come. It's way more fun than I'd ever thought it would be, and I've met a lot of new people. :) Yet another thing that's taken me out of my comfort zone!

And, recently, I've been having a lot of fun, as well as really deep, conversations with my best friend, Andrew. He lives in Alabama, but we've been best friends for two years. :) A lot has happened throughout our friendship, and we stopped talking for seven months this past New Year's Day, but we've resumed talking. He's always been a very big spiritual encouragement in my life (I suppose that's one of the main reasons I appreciate him so much), and we've both grown so much in the past two years. I still don't know where God's taking it all, though, and I've asked Him to guard our hearts where we're both concerned.

I've also been thinking about going on a mission's trip! That's not a relatively new thing, in and of itself, but I just have this feeling I'll be able to make sense of a lot more things-- like what I want to do in life and what God's calling me to, overall-- when I get to experience that. Pray for me about that!

Miss you, Karli!

awww, I am so glad!! that makes me so happy! if i'm ever going to college, it will definitely be to a Christian one. it makes you feel more connected and less alone. (but that's only one of the many reasons i'd go!).

and it's great!! still blogging, which i love, even though it's going slow. and this whole summer i got to be a summer missionary with an organization called Child Evangelism Fellowship… it was incredibly challenging and really pulled me out of my comfort zone and taught me a lot about being a witness and being a teacher, but the most amazing part was i got to lead five children to Christ. <3 i miss the children the most. they really touched me. but those are some of the biggest things that have been happening! i also bought something called a "little faith book" on amazon.com the other day and it's a devo/journaling book and it's really gotten me to be artsy while reading God's Word. i love it!

but yep, that's that. :)

tell me how college life is so far!!
