I am... first of all, a mother of 3 grown children and a grandmother of 1. I also 'self-qualify' myself as an artist, a poet. I believe I'm a bit funny in a sarcastic but tender sort of way and in general... a good-hearted, rather quirky, silly, lovable woman.

Please understand my R&R is turned off.... For me, it get's to be too much of an 'obligation thing' as opposed to a genuine desire to read one's work.

I also don't subscribe to the "friends" idea. I much prefer the idea of 'subscribing' to a "person's writings."
It seems much more personal and meaningful to me. In my humble opinion there are far too many 'meaningless comments' by people wanting to be 'friends'. I think it gets to be too much of a 'social thing', as opposed to 'real views' about a person's writings.
However, if you would like me to read something. PLEASE just frop me a msg. and I would be very happy to do so.
