I find it very interesting how a poem can take on a life of its own, how it can gain more meaning than it was written with, how it can mean different things to different people; and I'd like to know what you get from it, if anything.

Pain is no bueno. Sounds like a rough trip. I actually work at a rafting place, what a coincidence! Hope this wasn't a professional trip lol. Glad you still had fun though!

A "rafting" trip, that was really more of a hiking trip.. The raft deflated about thirty minutes into a three hour trip (personal note: never buy a raft from Wal-Mart). I swam/walked/was drug the following six hours. All in all, still a lot of fun even with all the cuts, scrapes, bruises, and inhaled water!

Thanks! I try. And to be honest I'm really more on the music side of it than the actual lyrics.
