About Me

English isn't my native language, French is, but I fell in love with it 15 years ago and my knowledge of and passion for it grew with each new piece of American culture my opened eyes and ears came across. English fed my long-time love for literature and poetry — the joy of reading an author in his or her original language is priceless — which led me to use it in my own writing. I have been writing in French for years, mostly philosophy and short stories, at times frustrated by the unnecessary adornments and perceived arrogance of my language. But English renewed my profound love for French and opened a creative door in me whose existence I ignored.

Writing poetry is a humbling exercise for me, I'm just barely attempting at grasping something through it. Sometimes I think I almost reach it.

I'm 30 and live in Paris with an American human, 2 cats and 2 snails.
