About Me

I'm just a Dakota brother doing the best I can in life. I live in the scenic Willamette Valley in Oregon, however my Dakotan lineage spans on both my parents sides from NE Montana.
Makosica, pronounced: Mah-Koh She-Cha. My name stems from the rocky landmark formations where my family comes from on the east end of the reservation. These areas are a sanctuary and refuge to all people who come upon them. Makosica: A place of refuge and sanctuary for all people. Reading and writing poetry are among my many interests.
