Gildamare

I'm a bit of a gypsy, so I can't say that I really "live" anywhere. My passions are constantly changing, so I am always following my new dreams! I graduated from college almost a year ago & have done very little with myself, sad to say. I was working for a small newspaper last summer/fall in the central FL area, but the wind blew me up to New England for the winter.

I am currently living with a fantastic man, David, who does much more than take care of me; he loves me! He's just too hard to pinpoint, so I probably won't write too much about him. But he is a great inspiration to me & is always on the sidelines cheering me on & encouraging me to write write write! No one that I have met so far has ever understood me nearly as well as he does, which is why I keep him so close to my heart.

I write a little of everything, but I am fascinated by short stories, mostly. I am working on collections of short stories for the time being & am having a blast! I also really enjoy the concept of text & image and really like incorporating photographs & writing together to form one, cohesive art-form. I really like getting everyone together to love, appreciate, discuss & make art, which is why I have programs & "contests" like Project Art & Gildamare Projects.
