About Me

I'm a big dreamer. I'm easily discouraged and easily encouraged as well. I'm here for business really. I'm trying to take my strictly-dreamed based writing on this computer to a whole new level. I plan on writing novels as a hobby and maybe even as a career. I enjoy writing probably as much as the next person if not more. If you ask what I like to read, I'd have to say I don't know. I'm honestly not a big reader. You'd think I was since I loved writing so much. But the truth is, I enjoy being creative more than reading someone else's creativity. It only proves as a competition for me. I'm 18, my birthday is in January. I'm engaged to an awesome man whom I love very much. I'd like to say that 10 years from now I want to be a stay-at-home mother who writes stories and reads to her children her own made-up children's books. That'd be nice. I live in Indiana. I'm currently looking for serious writers locally to be a critique buddy. I'd like to start getting some pseudo-professional opinions on my writing. And likewise. I work part-time at a restaurant down the street so I'm not looking for anything fancy. I don't believe you have to go to harvard and graduate with a masters in writing to be a writer. So please don't come to me with a million invitations to conferences or meetings that I can't afford to go to. I just want one-on-one or small group get-together's with some inspiration and good times. Something to help the writing process go a little bit quicker. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me. Message me or send me an email to and I'll reply as often as possible. Thanks in advance :)

The Heart of Night

When all the stars are sown
Across the night-blue space,
With the immense unknown,
In silence face to face.
We stand in speechless awe
While Beauty marches by,
And wonder at the Law
Which wears such majesty.
How small a thing is man
In all that world-sown vast,
That he should hope or plan
Or dream his dream could last!

O doubter of the light,
Confused by fear and wrong,
Lean on the heart of night
And let love make thee strong!

The Good that is the True
Is clothed with Beauty still.
Lo, in their tent of blue,
The stars above the hill!
