About Me

I'm Kiwi. I can spell that. It's kee-ee-wee-ee. Only not really.

I'm incredibly sensitive. Please take care with reviews. :). Critique I enjoy, but again, please be gentle! I'm not quite ready to be ripped apart yet.

I'm a 18-year-old alumna from an agricultural high school. Contrary to popular belief, that does not make me dumb. Quite the opposite, really, I was just in a school with many people who learned differently. I enjoyed my classes wholly as I had an opportunity every day to work with plants and gather knowledge that will help me in future jobs in the green industry.

I'm an avid learner. Student, yes, but just in general. If someone has something to teach me (and it is my belief that EVERYONE does) I am constantly ready to learn. Because of that, I enjoyed both my vocational and academic classes very much.

I am now a Fresher at the University of Reading in England, living as a dual-citizen international student in halls. I am studying for a degree in Applied Ecology and Conservation. Rachel Carson is one of my (many) (s)heroes. Thus far my experience of the classes and learning has been excellent, and I predict it will continue to be so far into the future.

I'm lesbian, or at least I am if I have to label myself (though I would prefer not to). That makes me a gay adolescent! It also explains why so many of my stories are in those two genres. Grin. What's that saying? "You write what you know"? That tends to be true for me, but I certainly enjoy branching out.

My hip has been yucky the last few years. It's a long story, going all the way back to, basically, my birth. So I'll just say I fractured it and have had a few surgeries since, including a hip replacement! So glad! I am now walking (and jogging from time to time without pain when I'm not lazy) and it is absolutely fantastic.

One of my most wonderful experiences: eating an apple, reading a book, and walking ALL AT THE SAME TIME. It's easy to appreciate such a feat when one has been unable to do it for years.

Ah, I see :) Lol, sorry.

Yeah, seeing as you attended an agricultural high school, you might not be as keen on city life. I actually enjoy both equally. I want to move to New York one day, but I think it might be a bit extreme. So it's all still up in the air.

It's sounds like you will be going to a good unviersity :) Hopefully all is what it appears to be, eak! I'm sure it will though ;)

That's a good thing you're adaptable :) So then it would be an easy transition. I love places with a lot of people, I find them so much more intersting. I'm glad my high school is quite large. A small dorm room is good when you're by yourself! It would be cozy :) So you live in England? I would give anything to be there! I love it so much! It is dream to live there some day. Do you know what London is like?

Well, hopefully you do get harder work! It's so boring when everything is easy. I'm sure it will be challenging, people say university is a lot different. Good luck! :)

Ah, was your high school small? That's a hard transition. I stayed in a dorm once, it was really small. I think it would be hard to live there if you had to share, but if you were alone it would be all right. Hopefully yours will fit your needs, though. Yeah, I'm sure the work will be harder. University looks much different. What will you be studying?

I'm counting down the last days I will have access to a computer! Gah, it's not long ... but hopefully I will get mine back soon!

I hope you do too! Will you be attending one similar to your high school?

My computer is broken right now, so I might not be able to get on for a while. So if I don't reply, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth! Lol, I'll just have no chance to get on for a bit :)

Lol! I ahte it when you go onto a different website you joined years ago, since what you wrote is completely different than what you would put now. It's so strange!

Aww, I used green industry because you used it on your profile, but there really isn't any way to put it, it there? :) I lvoed being outside, it's wonderful. We don't have anything like that where I live, unless I'd be going somewhere more involved with my interests. But I am happy where I am, I go to a great school :)

Aw, same here :) That's all right though! It would funny if someone was a few years behind :P

It must be awesome to have gone to an agricultural high school, I would love that. It's good to see others who are interested in the green industry :)
