For those of who don't know me, which is pretty much all of you ;-) My family calls me Mary and my friends call me Liz. You can call me either one or simply Octobers Dream. I am 29. I am a stay at home mom. I am married with 2 kids, a daring stuntman in training and a sassy lil diva. My kids are my world. The loves of my life. I'm pretty much your typical down-to-earth female with a few surprises up my sleeve. I love music, movies, and books.

I am an avid reader... when I was in the 8th grade, we had an awards day where the teachers created special awards for students and they created an "Avid Reader" award for me because I was always reading even when I was supposed to be working. What can I say? I love to read, reading can take you places that you only dream of.
I've been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. I don't do rhyming too well. I've been told I should try publishing my own book of poetry by countless people including my old high school English teachers. I can write about any subject, any topic. Just keep in mind that just because I write about something doesn't mean that it is about me. I've got poems I've wrote with others on my mind.
I used to have to carry pen & paper with me everywhere I went because there was no telling when something would come to me. Now my days stay filled with my kids squeals, smiles, & laughter as I try figuring out my next move in life. As of now I am simply content with being home for my kids. Although I look forward to the day I have a decent job I like or go to school. :-)
