About Me

"So much time, so little to say." - Banksy

I'm an aspiring writer/artist with peter pan syndrome. Surrealism rules my world, as does naivety and logic. I'm an existentialist, and I think I just told you all of that in the wrong order. Re-read it backwards and it'll make sense, most things do when you look at them differently.

new york city Pictures, Images and Photos

I prefer the pavements themselves to the places they lead me to. I like to travel upside down and live inside my head and inside my own world. After all. My world is going to be my world for the rest of my life, and nobody sees things the same way as the next person. Weird though, sometimes I wish they could.

"Everybody thinks of changing the world, but nobody thinks of changing themselves" - Leo Tolstoy

Out in the Fields of God

The little cares that fretted me
I lost them yesterday
Among the fields above the sea,
Among the winds at play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what might pass,
I cast them all away,
Among the clover-scented grass,
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the hushing of the corn,
Where drowsy poppies nod,
Where ill thoughts die and good are born
Out in the fields of God.
