19 bass player, vocalist and writer and an ex spoken word artist. I'm difficult to explain in the cliche About Me sense. I'm light and dark... and freely write on both sides of the emotional spectrum. I like to experiment and mimic other styles of writing just to try them out and base my writings primarily on emotions because almost everyone has them and can relate. My greatest passion is martial arts, in contradiction to my usual soft spoken demeanor I love (safe) fighting and physical activity, being driven to the point of exhaustion to allow the body, mind and spirit to reach their peak. I love the passion and fighting spirit and its become a major inspiration for me. Also I'm a music production major and music is a big part of my life. I play and enjoy both the heaviest and softest of music. I prefer metal, alternative and electronic rock. I've been playing for a few years and been involved in this an that but I generally play alone now, no projects so I won't be posting any music videos of my own or the like.
I'm usually quiet but very passionate and opinionated and this tends to offset people. Just a heads up on my many dislikes. I don't like romance or love cliches especially in writing I very rarely write anything near romantic and I dislike reading about it unless it brings something new to the table and most romantic writing doesn't. I'm not big on religion, I came from a very religious family and was a very religious person for awhile but I've left organized religion and nothing you say will make me go back, whatever works for you and makes you happy is fine by me just don't go there. I'm a firm believer in equality for people of all faiths, interests, races and handicaps especially the mentally handicapped and I will erupt at discrimination. That said I believe events such as black history month, gay pride parades and organazitions and the like impede their own causes by emphasizing how one group is different instead of focusing on how everyone is the same. It's an us and them model that will just perpetuate isolationism and bullying. If this seems strange or offensive to you, I don't care. My beliefs are my own and likewise for you. Oh I also dislike most but not all rap and dubstep as I've said I'm learning music for a career and personally think true skill lies in learning an playing an instrument like the good ol days, hate me if you will.
