Hi.
*The Obligatory 'Why I Write' Section"
Why I write poetry- it challenges one to paint a vivid picture with words, and it tasks one with eliciting an emotion
in a short time span. Quite tricky.
Why I write short stories-
a. Morbid/dark stories- I don't particularly like writing these. I write them because it evokes a sense of despair
and sadness, one of the easier emotions to expose in a reader. I think some people who write ridiculously morbid
stories and poems, with no literary merit, should seek psychological assistance. There, I said it.
b. Love/drama stories- A difficult emotion to convey with words, it is a challenge that I enjoy taking on. Love is
one of the quintessential hearts of literature; it shows up in poetry, prose, and screenplays throughout time. It really is a fun thing to write about because there are endless possibilities.
c. Comedy/ Satire- Another one with infinite options, the knowledge that I made someone laugh while commenting on an aspect of society is really great.
Why I write screen plays- oh...actually I don't.
