About Me

Sooo, hello guys! Not much to say about me. I've been a writer since I was in kindergarten. I used to write stories about dinosaurs surviving the meteor (my favorites ones usually lived) because I had a wild imagination as a kid. My imagination inspired me to play in ditches and pretend I was going on an adventure. Sometimes I still feel like a little kid because I love to travel and venture around me. I am now in college studying literature in order to become a high school teacher for a little while until I decide to do something else like go to grad school. Along with writing and traveling, I like anime, video games, fan fiction (please recommend me some), running, cooking/baking, and volunteering. I work at a summer camp currently I love to death. Jazz is indeed my favorite kind of music so recommend me artists. That would be really cool.

I love to write about politics, social commentaries, racism, feminism, slavery, relationships, sexuality, music, language, the nature of things, and abstract feelings no one really writes about. I like to play with language quite a bit as in my recent poetry. A lot of my influences come from women British poetry like Anna Barbauld or Charlotte Smith or Virginia Woolf so sometimes I'll make references to them like in Radiance. I also take influence from Amy Powell and her mixing the styles of romance and realism.

If you review me, I review you. It's that simple. Also, I have no filter so I will say if I am a bit confused by some things or feel things can be improved because isn't that what we're here for? To become better writers? I don't want anyone sugar coating anything for me. Give me your best critiques.

I don't know what else to add, so drop a message in my box and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Regarding your status: The one who blocked you may have gotten offended by your constructive review. Either that, or that person may have seen your contructive reviews, got intimidated, and blocked you.

So, you like jazz ... I do too. Charlie Parker is one of my favorites; I enjoyed his song "Just Friends." Cannonball Adderley is also nice ... his songs "Clouds" and "Work Song" are two of my favorites.

I like listening to Paul Desmond when I'm in a mellow mood ... his song "Emily" is simply beautiful.

Some more:
John Coltrane - Too Young to Go Steady
Clifford Brown - Stardust
Clifford Brown - Memories of You
Bobby Watson - Quiet as Kept
