Sandra Swine

I am new to this community so please excuse my "newbie-ness" :)
I'm Sandra, I have always enjoyed writing as an escape but now that I am an adult I am more interested in writing with a purpose; have it be a fictional story, song or poem, biography or piece of journalism, I would like my work to serve a purpose. I sometimes find it very frustrating when I don't think I'm hitting my mark and finding that "purpose" so I end up with a lot of unfinished work. "Writer's block" hits me hard, I come here in hopes to find some inspiration and maybe even some ways to work through the blockage and encourage me to finish things.
I sound like I take myself too seriously here, which is not the case at all. If you read my stuff you'll see that structure isn't really my forte and I'm kinda just writing off the walls a little bit; but I find truth in that style. And sometimes you gotta be silly, and sometimes it's good to just throw the rules out and let the cards fall where they will and see what comes out.
