Chocolate Coffee

Hi! My name is Sharon and I live in rural Iowa on a farm with my husband and a black lab named Mavis who we adopted from the Animal Rescue League in Des Moines. She is my beloved companion. I have some health issues and am at home nearly all the time, so we are close pals and I appreciate her friendship and love more than I can say.

My hubby is a farmer/rancher and also works a part-time job, so he is a busy man. He isn't too hep on computers and the internet and prefers to stay anonymous, so that's all I'll say about him.

I am working on a novella about a veteran with PTSD who has a service dog. I am having to do a lot of research and I am enjoying it. I am passionate about our veterans getting what I feel they so highly deserve for their sacrifices for our country, and it warms my heart how service dogs can help veterans with their return "home".

Please take a look at what I have written and leave any comments you may have. I am developing a thicker skin when it comes to my creations, so I will even appreciate constructive criticism. If you would like me to take a look at your work, just let me know. I will do my best to get it read and make some remarks.
