About Me

Hi, my name is Sami Vish. I'm 26 years old. I've been writing poetry and fiction since I was seven. Writing was my first passion, singing was my second, and now creating a better world for us to live in through better healthcare is my primary goal alongside my partner. I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life and that's reflected in my poetry. I use my poetry as a safe space where I can put my guard down and just breathe into an emotion, whatever that emotion is. I write out the pain till every tear is gone. In short, you are all my shrinks, LOL. 😝Although my poetry may not always reflect it, I am a consistently happy and vibrant person (probably because I write out the negative emotions 🤔). My mother says to me on almost consistent basis that she is in awe of my tenacity. I really don't give up, on anything! I will fight to death for things I feel passionate about, which is also reflected in my poetry. I try not to say much about my writing because I want people to walk away with their own opinion and interpretation without me influencing it, but if my opinion is important to you then you should know that almost zero of my poetry is figurative. Most of my poetry falls into the Confessional genre and is very much autobiographical. Also, I am bisexual and have been in a committed polyamorous relationship with the love of my life who happens to be a man for almost six years now. I feel like those personal details need to be known to understand most of my poetry. As far as being bisexual, I have had people either assume I'm a man or that I had a typo, I guess I'm very straight looking #queergirlproblems, but could also maybe pass as a man? I don’t know, lol. As far as being polyamorous, people have gotten confused about that as well. Knowing those things should make it easier for you to interpret my poetry if you are ever confused. Also, you can totally message me or review that specific poem if you have questions.
Enjoy reading through my innermost thoughts! 😉

Note: I write in the moment, thereputic poems and most of the time the emotions I am feeling when I write these poems goes away. Don't think that all of my poems are a direct reflection of who I am right now, I constantly change.

Thanks for the Review on "Ki Ken Tai"

Anyone can strive for that form of "Enlightenment" if you yourself are willing to challenge yourself to change.

Just wanted to add that note! >.< Take Care!
