I've written poetry for most of my life, but I always hid it from other people, because I was afraid to be judged and criticized for the moods, tones, and messages I use in my writing. I have never written happy, upbeat poetry, it's normally kind of dark and depressing, but all of them I write are from my heart and contain my true thoughts and feelings.
