About me:
Hello..... I'm just a simple (meaning not complicated) man that is passionate about his work in the entertainment arts. I love horses, long walks, meditation, philosophy, history, theater, film and television. I like to read thriller/suspense and science fiction books.

I practice the healing arts, I'm a Reiki Master and I practice Nichiren Buddhism, Chinese Gung fu and Japanese Aikido to maintain good health and spiritual balance. Though I do all of these things...I want to use this site for connecting with people who are interested in creation through the written word, no matter what it is. Express yourself and share. I believe that next to becoming an enlightened being, creation through the written word is closest that man will ever come to being God and being able to express it is the ultimate form of worship.
It's amazing what we can do with this site, what we can do when we are gathered for one purpose and being of one mind. I think that they call this phenomenon Synergy. That's powerful stuff! CREATE!, CREATE!, CREATE!

its good to be passionate about writing. you can have all the gloss and technique in the world but if you are clinical, detached, it will eventually show through. Readers are intelligent. They spot it. I say - follow your writing passion and enjoy the endeavor. Peace.

It was a scotch. I wanted to make his character seem a little rough around the edges and nothing does that like some hard liquor. Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it. And people do call me Joce for short, so I have no objections. I'm really excited about Chapter Twelve. It reall gets into Julien's character. I'll have it up soon, I already have two pages typed up.

You're such a doll! Thank-you very much. I appreciate your encouragement, and it goes a long way. I'm doing well. Just got a new job, and despite the nine hour days I put in, I absolutely love it. I'm kind of a head barista. Well... the only barista at this high-end little place built in the 1800's. I play waitress, hostess, barista, and I buss tables. It keeps me busy, so I hardly have time to write anymore. :o( Thanks again for all the positive enforcement!
