Sophistication

I've been writing for a few years but I want to expand my knowledge and skills so I can write a fantastic novel! Though I'm more of a poet, tho I didn't actually know it. I carry a lot of crap on my shoulders and I turn towards writing, dreaming, music to get me out of reality. Personally, I turn towards the internet because I hate the real world. I don't like how everyone is always so angry around me and it's hard to cope in that kinda situation.

Here are a few things to note:

1: I send Read Requests to all my friends, if you don't want to read it or think I'm a jackass for asking you to review it, dismiss it and don't complain.

2. If You Read Request ME, it might be some time before I can leave a good review for you. So if you have a book or story you want me to review, message me personally before July 22nd.

3. July 22, 2012. I will be leaving for Boot Camp for the Marines. At which time I will disable Read Requests and possibly delete this account. After boot camp I will not have time to come on here often.

Why should I live in the real word when I can create one with my own rules, lifestyle, and people? Should I accept that this life is a killer or a drug to take? Take a little and just start being delusional in a better world. Of course this is metaphoric for my imagination and creativity keeps me sane in another world.

I have been taking my writing more seriously lately and get very frustrated with 'good writing' or 'this was good' because it's basic and pretty much there... it's useless to me as a writer because it doesn't help me improve or make that piece better. So please, give some structured critiques from now on (at least on my stories and books, poems I'm not worried about.). Please and thank you.
