About Me

Hey guys, I'm newer to the site. I'm currently away at college where I'm double majoring in English Literature and German. Poetry is by far my favorite form of writing, so I figured this'd be the best place to put some of the things I've been working on over the past few years.

I will have to watch the documentary sometime. It seems like a really worthwhile look into the life of a modern comedic genius.

Thanks for reviewing the piece about Philly. I remember hearing the news about the school system decision and I got really angry. At the time I felt like the elected officials charged with the best interest of the people had failed them.

It is a very different city though, and you are right about the people. They are more caring than people from New York City, and they seemingly have more pride in the city. It is just a totally more down to earth place than some of the other big cities around.

How was "The Bill Hicks Story"? Yeah, I would have to say that his intensity is pretty contagious.

Ah, the "Crack the Skye" influence makes sense for the second one. The songs on that album have a pretty trippy/surreal feeling to them.
