I love to write and draw and recently got into photography. All the pictures for my stories are pictures I have taken and edited. I usually write when I'm upset as a way to get over what I'm feeling. Please don't take anything too literal.
This is my senior year of high school. I hope to attend Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in the fall of 2013 as a mechanical engineering major. In high school, I'm the captain of the Color Guard. (The visual part of marching band, aka the flag spinners). I was able to start a weapons line (rifles) at my school, pretty much single handed. I'm extremely excited to teach my guardlings rifle and hopefully choreograph the work as well. I also participate in both indoor color guard and indoor drumline as well as the orchestra. When I'm not busy with school and activities, I spend most of my time taking pictures of anything and everything I find interesting. This is usually the inspiration of my stories.
I love color. I love to photograph color, and in black in white. And I especially love to draw. My favorite medium is charcoal. There's so much left for the viewer to interpret in the absence of color, for both arts. But overall, writing is my voice. I'm not shy, but I'm not too open either. So I use my short stories to get my feelings and opinions out in the world. Criticism of my writing is less hurtful than being told to my face, in my opinion.
Not going to lie, I'm a pretty strange person but when you get to know me I'm a great friend.
I HATE drama. Not like the literature kind, like the "OMG! She stole my boyfriend!" crap. Its stupid. Why do people have to be drama sponges?! Every one of them just tries so get attention and drag other people into their problems so solve them for them. I'm not sorry if you're one of these people. That's just how I feel about the subject.
I spend a lot of time with my best friends, Nicole and Caitlin. They;re the most amazing friends anyone could ever want. Whenever I have anything in my life they will support me. And when I fail, they pick the pieces up and dust me off again.
I don't really believe in the whole religion thing. In my opinion, its pointless. Religion is just imagination that people take way too seriously. People need to get a clue. It was only made to explain how the world works. Now we have science, its time to let it go. Also, all you I-follow-every-word-of-the-bible-to-a-tee people, it treats women as less equal to men. And, HELLO? we aren't.
