Writing is easy. You only need to stare at a piece of blank paper until your forehead bleeds - Douglas Adams.
I am a woman in my 20's.
I love writing...sometimes it doesn't make sense to the reader but helps me to let my emotions out. It has proven to be the best form of catharsis for me. Else I tend to keep my feelings bottled up. There are few things and even fewer people that I believe in. God is not one of them. So I bank on writing to see me through the most difficult moments of my life. Im glad I came across the Caf. I think its a great place to post my writing and to have your comments on them so that I know what area of my writing requires improvement and how I can go about it. So your reviews are very important to me.
Please feel free to review my work honestly. I'm here because I want to learn from you and improve my writing. You may leave behind reviews that are contradictory to my opinion on the piece concerned; I won't feel offended by that. Your opinion is as precious to you as my opinion is to me. I would appreciate it very much if you suggest ways to better my work-be it grammatical errors or the size of the font or anything that I may have overlooked.
Another thing that needs to be mentioned is the fact that if I review your work, I do not expect you to return the favor. You needn't feel bad if you can't. Because I understand that it is tough to go through so many requests. I, personally do not go through everything that is sent to me for review.
All of us are here for different reasons. I respect those differences. Meanwhile, let's enjoy the similarities.
Thank you for stopping by.
-Writing is a solitary occupation. Family, friends, and society are the natural enemies of the writer. He must be alone, uninterrupted, and slightly savage if he is to sustain and complete an undertaking (Jessamyn West).
Note: Thanks to Google for helping me find such lovely images to go with my writings.
