Lily E. Lin

I suppose I should talk a bit about myself. Writing has long been one of my outlets of expression. I write to vent. That said, I enjoy the intricacies of the word, though it may be a double edged sword. I may wield it clumsily at times but I hope you will bear with me and guide me towards improvement. Feedback, new friends, and review request are always welcome. I am fairly new here, but hopefully this will be a better community/environment than the other web communities I have participated in.

A bit more actually about myself. I am an undergraduate college student attending Berkeley, much to my own personal chagrin at times of overwhelming stress (such as now, hence why I am creating a new account rather than doing actual homework). I sing and write and draw, all for fun as they're not permissible careers in my family. I am currently pursuing a degree in Molecular Cell Biology (emphasis in Biochemistry) and hopefully a double with Physics.

My overarching goal is to be the modern-day epitome of the concept of the Renaissance Man, though without the testosterone implied. In my free time, well time I should be sleeping or studying, I draw, write (mostly poetry, diatribes, and philosophical musings), make websites, and compose bits and pieces of songs. Mostly, I simply like being creative and the joy/feeling of creation, of expression.

Because without the act of creation or the release of spouts of creativity, I do not/cannot feel truly alive.
