I learned to write when I was four. I used to start in the middle of the page and write down, and then start at the top of the page - which infuriated my teacher. I learned to write joined up when I was about six. I stopped writing joined up when I was about eleven.

I write in the most unstructured and messy manner when it comes to sustained work. I write very directly from the heart, with poor regard for structure, rhythm or grammar. As long as it makes SENSE in some way. In fact, even that is no prerequisite. Everything I write is simply by compulsion. I never try and write anything. I never have writers block, because writing is not a chore like taking a morning crap. It is more like fucking or something I just have to do it.

The writing I put here has passed no litmus, or check of control. It is feral and has done a runner from quarantine. I hope you enjoy the varying shades of quality. Don't let it bite you, you'll catch something nasty.
