i like writing things i enjoy reading. i also enjoy rejection letters.
i've had the same piece called old-fashioned by one person, and original by another. i took both as compliments.

i really don't know what you expect me to tell, so....

i'm not the kind of person that writes twenty poems a day. i write when i get a good idea. i usually get my ideas when listening to music. for example: 'love's gonna tear you down' was written after listening to 'nettie moore' by bob dylan. yup.

i just spotted 'jack kerouac' in one of our poems. i'm going to review that one now. WHOO JACK KEROUAC.
