The first ten lines are written in Iambic pentameter but the last and concluding line is a spondee.

Though smartly dressed he does not seem
at ease, he�s lacking confidence.
Looks immature and still na�ve.
Although he�s handsome as a dream.
He�s hesitant to give offence
or so he lets the girls believe.

The ladies eye him eagerly,
the competition is intense.
But the ladies can�t perceive
they won�t impress him easily
His ploy of boyish innocence.
