A Death To Popularity Contests: Short Horror Fiction Edition  February 1, 2009 - March 3, 2009

Reading and Deliberating

Details

Because after all, it's about the talent right? Lately, it's become clear that alot of contests are made to circle in on a certain group, genre, judged by a writing group and by votes from all the readers. Seem fair? Well it could be. Except for the fact that the winner always seems to be that dude with the billion friends and the banner over his/her profile that reads: VOTE FOR ME!

Now let's get to brass tax. Not here. I will read ALL entries, submit feedback/reviews on all entries, rate all entries, and ultimately pick the final three. No games. Just well told stories. Horror Fiction applies. Max 2 submission per artist.

This contest starts taking submissions a day after the Story Edition closes as due to the high amount of contestants, it would be almost impossible for me to read, review, and rate them all thoroughly. Check that one out if you're antsy to submit something!

NOTE: Since I know that if I select a genre on the list it can create problems with your submissions so I'm going to leave it open to all genres so you don't have to go in and edit your story, but please be aware that this is for HORROR FICTION ONLY. Anything else will be bumped, and I might leave you and angry note.
