Here is the new poet-craft form from me: THE CINQUIANO


a five-line Spanish syllabic poem with even-numbered syllables per line.

Stanza Type : Quintet
Lines : 5
Accents : Varies
Syllables : 2 (for line 1); 8 (for line 2); 7 (line 3); 4 (line 4); and 2 (line 5)
Rhyme : None

Baghdad,
your streets are littered with the dead.
through the cracks in your sidewalks
sadly grass grows
