The Cameo

a purely syllabic form. Seven lines:

line 1 = 2 syllables
line 2 = 5
ine 3 = 8
line 4 = 3
line 5 = 8
line 6 = 7
line 7 = 2

Here is a sample from my own cameos:

SONGS OF SUMMER

Swallows
balance themselves on
the high electric wires like
music notes
dotting a staff of song. A crow
on the top tallest wire
a clef.

Each poet can submit up one or two cameos. This means two separate poems. For each poem submit only one stanza of seven lines. Also, please make sure your syllable count is correct for each line to avoid being disqualified.

Gold, Silver, Bronze, and one honorable mention.
