Shifter - change
Changer - Childhood Nights

Nature itself shifts, it does with the world; as every piece of difference ripples onto the future of all else. This poetry contest will be for any member to enter. The theme is on the focus of one broad word: SHIFT (definition: to move or to cause (something or someone) to move to a different place, position) As a rule: please honestly submit poems that tell a story about change—the shifting of anything in the world. Everyone gets to vote, but this is a contest only for members of this group.

"Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing." —Arundhati Roy
