The Blue Rose Café ~ CHAUCERIAN RONDEL

Hello my friends,

I have just rummaged through my archives and come across one that our dear friend Poeticpiers contributed to our Group 5 years ago!

Sadly Ivor passed away, but his spirit still shines here at the Café and I dedicate this challenge to him.

I hope you enjoy and I look forward to reading your wonderful efforts.

Example

A nappy ale is my delight
Though others may prefer red wine
You have your choice, I will have mine

There is no reason we should fight
Why should we differ friend of mine
A nappy ale is my delight

I drink it morning noon and night
I do not like the taste of wine
Although wine seems to suit you fine
A nappy ale is my delight.
