Write a story with the prompt, "I tried to hold on but I still kept drowning" as your inspiration. The story can be as long as you want but must be at least 1000 words long.

It can be your own personal demons being exorcised, it can be a horror story, a love story, it doesn't matter. Whatever you want it to be. Good luck everyone! I look forward to reading the submissions.

Just because there are three awards, it doesn't mean that these are the only stories up for publication. Any story submitted might get the chance for publication. So make sure to do your best. :)
