To sum it up... decadence is the love of decay... beautiful decay. Definitions: 1. A process, condition, or period of deterioration or decline, as in morals or art; decay. 2. often Decadence A literary movement especially of late 19th-century France and England characterized by refined aestheticism, artifice, and the quest for new sensations. For examples... refer to Oscar Wilde's poem "Symphony in Yellow" or the wikipedia article... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decadence Basically... I want you to write a poem with a decadent flare. Spelling and grammar matter as well, but as long as it's decadent... submit away! (2 poems each). PrizesA pretty ribbon, pride, bragging rights, and a nice review!
