First Word(s) March 21, 2012 - April 1, 2012
Enter the first sentence(s) of one of your books/stories/chapters, or just some sentence(s) you wrote which could possibly be the first in a book/story/chapter.
YOU CAN ENTER THE WHOLE CHAPTER AND I'LL JUST LOOK AT THE FIRST TWO TO THREE SENTENCES. IF YOU WANT ME TO LOOK AT SPECIFIC ONES, JUST WRITE WHICH ONES IN THE DESCRIPTION/NOTE FOR REVIEWERS SO I KNOW.
Or you can create and publish the beginning of a story which only has a few sentences. Whatever floats your boat.
Will be judged on how well it draws the reader into the story, but not in a cheesy way like one of those rhetorical questions you write at the beginning of essays in 2nd grade. Doesn't need to be extremely descriptive, or overly mysterious or action-packed.
Just interesting, and not boring enough to make a reader put your story down.
After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
*Hint hint* I'm kinda biased toward stories NOT about contemporary life and love. But I'll try not to be.
$0.00 , reviews by me (if your sentences are from a book/story, I'll read the whole thing), reccomendations, bragging rights, for anything else just message me and I'll run it through the committee ;)
