Freedom Writers (Moldova-Solidarity  April 8, 2009 - May 23, 2009

This is a special challenge. In the next several days, many of our holy spiritual traditions will be celebtating holidays of renewal and freedom.

Yosif and I just received alarming news yesterday that there is civil war in Republic of Moldova. It has been simmering for quite some time. This is our former country and we support the Moldovan people to live free from Russian occupation with opportunity to speak their own language (Romanian). We are praying Russia does not invade. Romania is backing Moldova.

Pesah begins tonight--it is the time of the year we celebrate freedom from slavery. If you can--write a poem/ prose of freedom and celebrate with us. Please keep Moldova in your hearts and prayers. Things are not so good right now!
