Haiku for You!! :)  February 8, 2015 - February 15, 2015

Hello Folks ! I've been interested in Haikus for as long as I've known they have existed. I'd love to share this interest with you all. They are the seemingly simplest yet complex poetry form that I have dabbled with.
To enter this contest, just write a three line poem, 5 syllables on the first line, 7 on the second, and 5 again. That is the only standard that this contest requires! I would be looking for the most Expressive poem there is! A simple Haiku that can paint a picture within the mind of the reader or make them feel something, nod their head in approval of the idea, is a great poem in my opinion.
Haiku -Haiku is one of the most important form of traditional Japanese poetry. Haiku is, today, a 17-syllable verse form consisting of three metrical units of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. Since early days, there has been confusion between the three related terms Haiku, Hokku and Haikai.
