"Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble!"

It's nearing Halloween now, can you write a 'berry' scary Halloween poem or short story that will scare me?

There are few restrictions on content. Please, no erotica or LBGT themes. Cursing, very mild sexual content, and violence are acceptable. Pretty much any theme will do—So long as it gives me goose bumps. The darker, the better. If it’s horror, great. If it’s some kind of creepy fantasy, great.

The story should be no more than 3,000 words.
